The new Samsung BD player may have no fans, FOR A loud for my taste to drive. Once a disc is inserted, the drive motor is permanently (even if disc is not complete). This creates a high-frequency background noise as with any other player. But subjectively it is about twice as loud as my 8 year old Sony DVD player. MANY WILL disturb not true. It gets even add something: during the normal game coming into operationirregular intervals and Surr-clack noises to die, I do not find acceptable. Unfortunately you only hear in this video. The Grundfiepen is for my camera to a high frequency.

So while watching blue ray movies on my ps3 it decides to start doing this… In this video it happens right in the beginning and at the end of the clip… WTF? Also, it’s totally random so it doesn’t do it at the same time in the movie, so it’s not the movies. So should I trash it or fix it?

Quick run through on the features of Sony’s BDPS350 and 550. These models aren’t new but we had this running at shop front as few customers had the opportunity to see the Xross Media Bar menu system, BD Live and Bonus View working.
