Waited a while before buying a Blu-Ray player. Like to wait for prices to come down on new products and for the bugs to be corrected. Really like this player! Very easy setup and love the option(Netflixs,Vudu,Pandora,Napster,Cinemax,Youtube, etc.) I have a LG LCD t.v., so figured this might be a good match—and it is. Price was very good from Amazon and very happy overall with purchase.

The LG BD300 Network Blu-ray disc player is currently one of the leading Blu-ray models in the market. It is enjoying raving reviews from users worldwide and is proving to be a strong rival for the popular Sony S350 and Sony S550 models.
The most obvious feature that I love about the LG BD300 Network Blu-ray disc player is its new design. It is barely 2.5 inches thick and has a flat and glossy black front interface. As black goes with any color, I much prefer the LG player’s design to Sony’s models (which are in a strange metallic blue color).
The LG BD300 Network Blu-ray disc player’s audio and visual playback for Blu-ray discs is impressively crisp and clear. The start up time is fast and there are no signs of reduction in visual quality in high-speed visual sequences. DVD movies also play well on this LG movie player. The machine can up-convert DVD movies to 720p, 1080i, or 1080p resolutions. Like many players, the LG model has a 24 frames-per-second option to produce a more cinema-like quality. Read more...
ANOTHER CRASHED LG BD300 – No Service – do not buy – P. Smargiassi – Woodinville, WA USA I bought this player in Dec. 2008. Through the year it started dropping the network connection. It got worst and worst until it would not work with Netflix or youtube. Now the DVD player is broke. SO IT IS A BOAT ANCHOR. The Warranty is a joke. WARRANTY Limited Warranty 1 Year Parts/90 Days Labor Even if it was longer, LG service does not respond. Read more...

I have been thinking about a Blue Ray DVD player for some time now. I’e had a Denon suround sound system for a few years that came with a standard DVD player and I wanted to upgrade to blue ray. I considered the LG as my first choice since I already am a Netflix subscriber and saw this as an added feature/benefit. I could have gone with a Samsung, but after reading the reviews on Amazon and electronic trade publications, I decided on the LG. I selected the BD 370 instead of the BD390 for two reasons. One was the additional 0+ cost and I felt wireless video might not have the same quality as an ethernet connection. Read more...
Design: The LG BD 390 has gone for a conventional and refined look complete with a glossy, reflective faceplate accented by silver trimmings. The player offers an LCD screen near the center along with four playback controls. A removable plastic cover hides a USB port on the front. While the footprint remains more or less standard the player looks thinner and sleeker, allowing it to fit well in both home and office. The remote control was very good with simple to use and control of large size. Read more...
